Regulated cutting of timber is essential to our forest management goals under the Wood County Forest 15-year Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Timber is usually advertised for bids twice a year in the spring and fall. Those interested in bidding on Wood County Forest timber are encouraged to request a timber sale prospectus and submit bids on timber tracts of interest to them. If you would like to be placed on our bidders list and receive regular notification of timber bids, please contact the Wood County Park and Forestry Office.
