The Wood County Sheriff's Department conducts public auction sales of foreclosed properties within Wood County.

Civil Process

The Wood County Sheriff's Department Civil Process Division handles the service of legal papers pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 59.27 (4) which states that the Sheriff, personally or by the undersheriff or deputies, serve or execute all processes, writs, precepts and orders issued or made by lawful authority and delivered to the Sheriff.

Project Lifesaver is a rescue program for Wood County's most vulnerable individuals, for both children and adults with cognitive impairments or medical conditions that put them "at risk" to wander away and become lost.
