Quality Improvement
Norwood is committed to providing excellent service to all residents and patients.
We participate in reporting core performance
measures for Hospital-Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services (HBIPS) developed by
The Joint Commission and the National Association
of Psychiatric Health Systems (NAPHS), the National Association of State Mental
Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) and the NASMHPD
Research Institute, Inc. (NRI). We believe in the value of asking patients about
the satisfaction of their experiences at Norwood
and want to use that input to continually improve our services. We also ask our
clinical and ancillary partners to provide quality
improvement information related to their efforts to enhance value, reduce costs
and increase satisfaction.
