Wood County, Wisconsin

Pursuant to §65.90, Wis. Statutes, the Wood County Board, at its meeting on March 17, 2026, made the following budget changes:

Resolution 26-3-1:  To amend the 2025 Debt Service Paying Agent (58295) budget for debt issuance costs not anticipated during the original budget process with unanticipated revenues from Debt Service - Debt Premium revenue totaling $86,990.

Resolution 26-3-2:  To amend the 2026 Norwood Health Center Maintenance (54351) and Capital Projects (57420) budgets to include expenditures for the water pipe replacement project (phase 1) and engineering and design costs in progress but not completed as of December 31, 2025, with previously approved contingency and Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency funds and 2024 unspent capital projects funds totaling $85,469.06.

Resolution 26-3-3:  To amend the 2025 Child Support - 5 County (51333) budget for additional expenditures not anticipated during the original budget process with unanticipated revenues from Child Support-5 County state aid totaling $11,796.91.

Resolution 26-3-4:  To create a 0.5 FTE Program Assistant in Victim Witness and amend the 2026 Victim Witness budget to allow for the expense with eligible for state reimbursement for this position between February 12, 2026 - February 11, 2027. The budget would be amended by $27,096.60.

Resolution 26-3-5:  To amend the 2025 budget of various Highway functions for additional expenditures of $3,322,740.31 not anticipated during the original budget process with additional revenues totaling the amount above.
