Re: County Trunk Highway AA Discontinuance
Wood County Highway Department will conduct a Public Information Meeting to present and gather information regarding the possible discontinuance of County Trunk Highway (CTH) AA.
After a fairly heavy rainfall event in late June a large hole was discovered that undermined a significant portion of the roadway and the causeway embankment is experiencing slope failure. Wood County Highway Department has been evaluating the best course of action for the future of the CTH AA and would like the publics input on the impact a discontinuance would have to local roads.
Displays will be available showing the proposed changes and cost estimates to repair CTH AA.
The Public Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a brief presentation at 5:15 p.m., at the Nekoosa Community Center, 416 Crestview Ln, Nekoosa, WI 54457. This will be an informal meeting (come and go as you please).
