AmeriCorps Position with Wood County 4-H

We are currently recruiting for an AmeriCorps member to serve with Wood County 4-H and the Extension Wood County office, starting in September.
As an AmeriCorps member, you will:
- work toward improving health outcomes for youth in Wood County using 4-H’s hands-on, experiential learning model.
- partner with organizations like public schools, public libraries, and community 4-H clubs to deliver programming that helps youth build connections with peers, discover and explore their personal interests, and more.
Programs may be held in school during school hours, after school, or out in the community. Discovery and exploring personal interests, building healthy relationships with caring adults, and building personal connection with peers are protective factors for youth mental health.
Duties may include coordinating and carrying out events, providing educational materials and programs or supporting organizational activities and operations in communities throughout Wood County.
