Family Health Services
Being healthy as a family is important for the health and development of a child throughout their lifespan. Health needs include access to medical, dental, basic
needs, and resources to manage stress and emotional concerns. Some families struggle to access quality healthcare services, which impacts the health, safety,
and well-being of children, families, and communities.
Health gaps due to barriers of race or ethnicity, education, income, location, housing, access to nutritious food, or other social factors puts individuals
at higher risk of poor health outcomes. Community interventions work to improve access to quality health care, ensure safe and healthy living conditions, and prevent
injury and disease.
